Frequently Asked Questions
Does cropping reduce the image quality?
No. Cropping just discards pixels outside your selection - the remaining pixels are unchanged at their original resolution. The output PNG/WebP is byte-for-byte identical to the cropped region of the source.
Why is my crop selection not appearing?
You need to click and drag on the image. A short single click will not create a visible selection. Hold the mouse button and drag a rectangle of at least a few pixels.
Can I crop multiple images at once?
Not in this single-image tool. For batch cropping, drag one image at a time, or use a desktop tool like ImageMagick which can apply the same crop to many files.
